Not only does this ensure your vehicle is safe and performing to its full potential, but it also means that you are not inadvertently breaking the law if your tyres’ tread depth is below the accepted 1.6mm minimum. If you drive with tyres that are damaged or worn, you risk receiving fines and penalties, invalidating your motor insurance and placing all road-users at risk. Here are the requirements for safe tyres:-
The legal minimum depth limit for tread must be 1.6 millimetres across the central three-quarters of the tread and around the complete circumference of the tyre.
Tyres of different construction types (radial and cross-ply) must not be fitted to opposite sides of the same axle.
There cannot be any lumps, bulges or tears caused by separation or partial failure of the tyre structure.
There can be no cuts or tears greater than 25mm or 10 percent of the tyre width (whichever is greater), and none deep enough to expose the ply or cord.
It is extremely important to check your tyres regularly for any damage, and ensure they are inflated to the manufacturer’s recommendation.

Waited 3 weeks for a Skoda door barrel replacement which became faulty after just 2 months.
Telephoned parts department and could not get through so left a message for a callback which never happened.
Waited a few days and recalled and spoke to a staff member who said he would look into matter and call me back but again he never did
Waited another few days and recalled a third time and asked to speak tomparts manager
I was told they were busy and they would call me back

This is the first time I write a review on any platform. It got to the point that I start feeling I've seen enough negative comments or complaints, but lack of acknowledgement for good products and services on the web nowadays. After a six month of car hunting, I've finally decided to purchase my first Skoda Superb here at Allams Epsom. Not only because I've seen so many What's car award Skoda has won recently; but the services I've received from the sales executive, Glenn Paull, which was so outstanding, even when comparing to the services I received from the big brands like Audi or Mercedes. I will not hesitate to recommend any of my friends or family to consider purchasing their next new car at Allams Epsom.

Awful first time visit to Allams. My Vauxhall Astra was making a clicking noise from the clutch pedal and the biting point was getting harder to find so I asked them to investigate as part of the service. However they came back to me and said absolutely nothing was wrong with it and that it is just a "characteristic of the car" and they would not further investigate it unless I pay them an additional £80. I knew there was an issue so took it to another Vauxhall garage who immediately identified the issue with the pedal and replaced the whole pedal box under warranty without me having to pay anything, this is what I had expected Allams to do in the first place.

Have been involved the accident (the car, which is returned to the customer after the repair, has bumped from the rear) from the one of Allams's driver (John) last Thursday (4th Jul 19).
Have left the message, and a lady (Lesley) called me back on Friday (5th Jul 19) and assured the right person will call me back to look after but noone has got back to me by Monday (8th Jul 19).
Wrote the email on Monday and the assistant service manager (Sam) replied back quoting "The insurance company will look after, all are in good hand".
No contact has been made until Wed (10th Jul), then wrote another e-mail for the update and got the reply "All information has been passed to the insurance company so it is now in their hands".
This has been a week since the accident and there is no urgency from Allams of Epsom, and one more thing bothers me is the driver (John) has not even got my contact details.
All they have is my e-mail address and possible telephone no. (that I have left at the answering machine), and wonder whether this is genuine follow up or just try to ignore hoping I will get tired of asking it.
