As your vehicle’s sole point of contact with the road, it’s vital that your tyres are properly fitted and in good condition. Not only does this ensure your vehicle is safe and performing to its full potential, but it also means that you are not inadvertently breaking the law if your tyres’ tread depth is below the accepted 1.6mm minimum. Allams of Epsom dealership in Surrey will provide a free tyre health check and replace any that may be worn.
If you drive with tyres that are damaged or worn, you risk receiving fines and penalties, invalidating your motor insurance and placing all road-users at risk. Here are the requirements for safe tyres:-
The legal minimum depth limit for tread must be 1.6 millimetres across the central three-quarters of the tread and around the complete circumference of the tyre.
Tyres of different construction types (radial and cross-ply) must not be fitted to opposite sides of the same axle.
There cannot be any lumps, bulges or tears caused by separation or partial failure of the tyre structure.
There can be no cuts or tears greater than 25mm or 10 percent of the tyre width (whichever is greater), and none deep enough to expose the ply or cord.
It is extremely important to check your tyres regularly for any damage, and ensure they are inflated to the manufacturer’s recommendation.

Stay well clear of Allams Skoda Epsom
Stay well clear of Allams Skoda Epsom, I had very bad experience with these people. They do not know what they are doing, only thing they know is how to rip people off. They kept my car for 3 weeks and still could not find the issue. They were doing some repaired and changed parts worth £1433.00 , nothing worked. Then I was told to changed the fuel pump cost around £1500.00 . When I asked them whether it would solve the issue, the answer was "Not sure". Eventually I had take my car away from them and paid £1433.00 for nothing. Then, I took the car to a normal outside mechanic. He sorted out the issue, surprisingly, it was not the fuel pump, it was the blocked injectors. I was super annoyed. I asked them the Technician report but they have not been able to provide it yet. Still waiting.
If I could give them 0 star I would. So be very careful.,

Having endured a few different manufacturer dealerships recently while looking for a new car, Škoda were the best by far; staff are friendly, attentive, don't patronise or try and confuse you.
